Upcoming properties: The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ newest property in the Maldives, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, will open its doors on 1 November. Located in Dhaalu atoll, the luxury resort is a 40-minute seaplane ride away from the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.

Set to redefine ‘Barefoot Luxury’, The St. Regis Maldives offers a personal e-butler service prior to arrival as well as luxury transfer from the airport.

Vommuli offers 33 on-land villas and 44 over-water villas with private pools and a personal St. Regis Butler service.

The resort is also home to the John Jacob Astor Estate, the largest three-bedroom over-water villa in the Maldives, with a total size of 1,540 square meters that features a two-storey main villa and two connecting lagoon villas.

The luxury resort is home to one of the largest integrated recreational areas in the country, the Vommuli House. With activities for all age groups and interests, Vommuli House features a well—equipped Children’s Club, a Socialite Club for teenagers, Exercise Room, Anti-gravity Yoga Studio, outdoor tennis court, Hair & Beauty Salon, and The Library, while an Observatory Tower features The St. Regis Boutique.

The Vommuli Dive and Water Sports Centre offers guests complimentary snorkelling equipment to take in the magnificent underwater world teeming with marine life on the island’s private house reef, one of the country’s most renowned.

The resort’s PADI Dive Centre features Scubapro diving equipment, and offers Nitrox and PADI diving courses to allow guests to experience world-class diving.
