Fushifaru Maldives appoints Mohamed Ahmed Didi as Commercial Director
Fushifaru Maldives has announced the appointment of Mohamed Ahmed ‘Max’ Didi as its Commercial Director.
Max brings 20 years of experience in sales, reservations, and revenue management, having worked with prominent hospitality brands in the Indian Ocean region, including Naiade Resorts, and Centara Hotels & Resorts where he served as the Central Reservations Manager, Maldives.
Before the new role at Fushifaru Maldives, Max served as the Director of Revenue and Reservations at Vakkaru Maldives, where he was promoted in February 2020 from his previous position as Revenue and Reservations Manager. He joined Vakkaru in February 2019.
Prior to his tenure at Vakkaru, Max was the Revenue and Reservations Manager at Fushifaru Maldives, where he played a key role in the resort’s opening and contributed to its growth.
Fushifaru Maldives is a boutique resort located on the northeastern edge of Lhaviyani Atoll, a 35-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport. Situated near a Marine Protected Area and iconic dive sites, the resort offers a mix of adventure, discovery, and relaxation.
Its 63 beach and water villas combine traditional Maldivian design with modern amenities, featuring open-air bathrooms, private verandas, and some with plunge pools.
Dining options include international and regional cuisines at Korakali, surf and turf at Raakani, and Teppanyaki for interactive meals.
