CleanTech Maldives to introduce cleaning & wellness tech at exclusive showcase

CleanTech Maldives has announced an exclusive event on 9 August 2025 at Riveli Beach Club, showcasing a range of innovative European cleaning and wellness technologies now entering the Maldivian market for the first time.

Titled “Breathe Clean, Live Pure,” the invite-only event aims to bring together resort operators, property managers, and professional cleaning service providers to experience first-hand demonstrations of advanced tools designed to raise hygiene, wellness, and sustainability standards in hospitality and property management.

The half-day showcase will include live demonstrations and expert presentations from industry specialists flown in from Austria, in collaboration with the CleanTech Maldives team.

New Tools for a Cleaner, Smarter Hospitality Sector

Among the technologies being introduced are:

  • Medeco Cleantech: A chemical-free, high-performance steam cleaning system for deep sanitation of guest rooms, kitchens, and public areas. The system, presented by Fritz Pattis, offers a sustainable alternative to conventional cleaning by reducing chemical use and cleaning time.

  • Hyla: A German-engineered vacuum and air purification system that uses water filtration to eliminate fine dust, bacteria, allergens, and odors. Introduced by Stefan Paul Fürschuß, this system is designed to improve indoor air quality — ideal for villas, spas, and staff spaces.

  • Symbio Harmoniser: A wellness device that reduces the impact of electromagnetic radiation and promotes balance in indoor environments. Presented by Daniela Darxl and Aanu from the Maldives, the Harmoniser is already in use across luxury properties in Europe and now makes its debut in the Maldives.

The event will also include the launch of the country’s first steam-based professional kitchen hood cleaning service, aimed at improving food safety and reducing maintenance burdens in resort and institutional kitchens.

Strategic Partnerships and Local Empowerment

As part of the event, CleanTech Maldives will formalize exclusive distribution agreements with Medeco Cleantech and Hyla, securing the rights to bring these advanced solutions to the Maldivian market.

Speaking ahead of the event, CleanTech Maldives CEO Bassam Adam said the showcase represents more than just product promotion.

“This is the start of a smarter, cleaner future for key industries in the Maldives. We’re bringing proven, practical tools that enhance standards, reduce costs, and support local teams in delivering exceptional service,” he said.

“For resorts, property managers, and cleaning companies ready to innovate, this is a chance to lead — to adopt technologies that align with global sustainability goals while improving the guest experience.”

CleanTech Maldives’ “Breathe Clean, Live Pure” event underscores a growing shift toward efficiency, sustainability, and wellness-driven operations in the Maldives. As the hospitality industry seeks to meet higher expectations around health and hygiene, such innovations offer both a competitive edge and a long-term investment in quality.
