Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 kicks off in Dhaalu Zone

The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 Dhaalu Zone officially kicked off yesterday, 5th September 2025, hosted by Sun Siyam Iru Veli and played at the Bandidhoo Futsal Ground, Dh. Bandidhoo Island. With five competitive resort teams in the mix, the Dhaalu Zone promises high-energy futsal action as the race for the atoll championship begins.

The opening ceremony set the tone for the tournament, featuring an energetic performance by the Iru Veli Dance Group and opening remarks by Mohamed Nashmee, Managing Director of Tekkers Maldives. The ceremony also included a speech by Mohamed Najah, Executive Assistant Manager of Sun Siyam Iru Veli, and greetings from distinguished chief guests Marco Rojas (General Manager, Baglioni Maldives) and Masdhooq Saeed (General Manager, Sun Siyam Iru Veli).
