Dhiraagu launches Ramadan donation initiatives via DhiraaguPay
Dhiraagu has launched two focused community support initiatives this Ramadan, giving customers the opportunity to Donate a Meal or Donate to a Family conveniently through DhiraaguPay.
Under Donate a Meal, Dhiraagu has partnered with Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives to support their distribution of meal packs to migrant workers near mosques in the Greater Malé Region.
The initiative was formalized with a contribution of 1,000 meal packs from Dhiraagu, while enabling customers to contribute additional meals for MVR 60 each via DhiraaguPay.
In partnership with Mom’s Aid, the Donate to a Family initiative on DhiraaguPay will enable customers to support the NGO’s Ramadan Aid programme for families in need across the Maldives with care baskets and Iftar packs. Dhiraagu is supporting 100 families with care baskets of essential food items, focusing on single mothers and families caring for children with disabilities. Each care basket is valued at MVR 1,200 and contains essential food items to support families during Ramadan. Customers may donate any amount towards the cause.
Customers can make contributions by selecting their preferred cause from featured service tabs within DhiraaguPay, with donations transferred directly to the respective NGOs.
As Ramadan is a time of compassion and generosity, Dhiraagu aims to make giving simple and accessible, bringing customers and communities together to foster care and connection throughout the holy month.
