Dhiraagu GudiFest to take place in Malé on 27 February

Dhiraagu GudiFest is set to take place in Malé on Friday, 27 February 2026. The event will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Usfasgandu, Malé.

Children of all ages are invited to join the celebration, where Dhiraagu will gift a complimentary kite to every participant, bringing families together for an evening of joy and fun.

Dhiraagu GudiFest was launched by the company in 2023 to encourage more children to engage in the traditional cultural practice of kite flying during the evenings of Ramadan. Continuing the tradition, Dhiraagu GudiFest will be held across the Maldives this year as well.

Dhiraagu is a company that actively connects with the public during Ramadan, hosting exciting activities and offering valuable promotions. The company is also dedicated to preserving and reviving Dhivehi culture and traditional customs, introducing a variety of programs to celebrate and honor local heritage.
