BML, Mastercard launch promotion with MVR 100,000 in cash prizes

Bank of Maldives (BML), in partnership with Mastercard, has launched a promotion offering a total of MVR 100,000 in cash prizes for customers who apply for a new BML Mastercard Debit Card.

The promotion will run until the end of next month.

Customers who obtain a new BML Mastercard Debit Card during the promotional period will be eligible to participate in the lucky draw.

To qualify, customers must make a minimum purchase of MVR 200 using their Mastercard through BML point-of-sale (POS) terminals or the BML Payment Gateway.

According to the bank, customers can increase their chances of winning by making additional purchases. Spending MVR 1,000 in a week earns one extra entry, while spending MVR 5,000 within a month provides another additional entry.

At the end of the promotion, 10 winners will each receive MVR 10,000. The prize money will be credited directly to the winners’ BML accounts.

The BML Mastercard Debit Card enables customers to make payments and withdraw cash. Cardholders can withdraw up to MVR 25,000 per day from Maldivian rufiyaa accounts and up to USD 1,600 per day from US dollar accounts in the Maldives.

BML is a principal member of Mastercard in the Maldives. The bank issues Mastercard debit, credit and prepaid cards, providing customers with payment services as well as access to Mastercard’s rewards and benefits.
