Coco De Mer Maldives advances back-of-house engineering with INEO staff kitchen progress
The commercial kitchen development for Coco de Mer Maldives, an upcoming resort project jointly driven by Coco De Mer and Gulf Craft Maldives, has reached a new milestone with key equipment installations completed for the staff restaurant.
Scheduled to open in 2027, the luxury greenfield development is actively progressing across all operational facilities, prioritising robust back-of-house infrastructure designed to support long-term island operations.
On September 7, INEO’s local technical team successfully completed the installation of wall-mounted shelving systems within the staff dining kitchen area. In addition, heavy-duty stainless steel worktables, specialised bakery equipment, and gas cooking units were precision-positioned according to the approved kitchen layout.
Once fully completed, the tailored kitchen solution will provide a highly efficient, hygienic, and stable working environment for the resort’s culinary team, optimising daily meal preparation workflows and staff food service.
Executing commercial kitchen engineering in an island environment requires careful attention to spatial efficiency, material durability, and seamless site coordination. Throughout this phase, INEO’s engineering team worked closely with project stakeholders to ensure all technical specifications and installation procedures aligned perfectly with island operating conditions.
Backed by its permanent service hub in Malé, INEO provides on-the-ground technical installation, local spare parts support, and end-to-end kitchen engineering for hospitality projects across the Maldives.
As construction continues on schedule, the commercial kitchen facilities at Coco de Mer Maldives will move smoothly toward final commissioning ahead of the resort’s anticipated 2027 opening.
