BML-funded Heart Healthy Raajje project produces 10 free exercise videos

Tiny Hearts of Maldives has completed Heart Healthy Raajje, a national project promoting physical activity and heart-healthy lifestyles, with funding from Bank of Maldives through its Bank Fund initiative.

Guided by the Maldives Physical Activity Guidelines (2022), the project produced 10 inclusive exercise videos for different age groups, fitness levels and abilities, including children, babies, pregnant women, adults and older persons.

The videos are freely available on a dedicated Instagram page and the Tiny Hearts of Maldives website. Downloadable versions are also provided so community networks can share them more widely. By making exercise more accessible and encouraging regular activity, the project contributes to national efforts to prevent non-communicable diseases.

Bank Fund is the Bank’s annual grant program for registered NGOs. Each year, five projects are selected and funded, with each organisation receiving MVR 200,000 to implement projects that benefit communities across the Maldives.
