Applications open for coaching partners at Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race
The Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) has opened applications for coaching partners to join the country’s largest annual run.
Since 2018, Dhiraagu has collaborated with official coaching partners at DMRR to provide accessible training opportunities and encourage a culture of fitness across the Maldives. Interested parties may apply to become coaching partners by emailing dmrr@dhiraagu.com.mv before 26 August 2025.
DMRR remains the first and only international run in the Maldives to be listed in the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) World Running calendar, featuring a World Athletics-certified race route. The 16th edition is scheduled to take place on Friday, 24 October 2025, at Central Park, Hulhumalé.
Over the years, the event has developed into one of the Maldives’ most anticipated sporting occasions. Through the coaching partners programme, Dhiraagu continues to support participants with effective training while strengthening the sense of unity and community that defines the race.
