Bank of Maldives introduces simpler process to book medical dollars

Bank of Maldives has introduced a simpler process for Maldivians travelling abroad for medical purposes to book medical dollars through its Mobile Banking App.

Customers can now apply for medical dollars directly via the Mobile Banking App, submit the required documents, and track the status of their applications seamlessly.

Patients receiving medical treatment abroad through Aasandha and NSPA will be eligible to obtain up to USD 2,000, while travelers self-financing for medical treatments are eligible upto USD1,000.

Medical dollars will now only be credited to USD accounts. Customers can easily open a USD account through the mobile app.
