Celebrate a Maldivian Inspired Eid al-Adha at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, is hosting a curated program to celebrate Eid al-Adha from June 28 – July 3, 2023.

The holiday program will give guests a taste of Maldivian culture. The celebrations begin with the resort’s signature Maldivian Night, serving tropical dishes fusing local ingredients, simple spices, and flavours from the north to the south of the archipelago. Delve into Maldivian cultural heritage and learn the intricate traditional embroidery of Kasabu, where silk, metallics, and cotton are woven togehter. Ritz Kids has a special program of festive activities including crafting Eid decorations, tie-dying, and making traditional Eid cookies with the culinary team.

The Eid celebrations will also include The Souk, a dazzling sundown experience to the hypnotic rhythm of belly dancers and a live fire show and a Bedouin Barbeque fusing moreish flavours and a live Oud performance in the serenity of the Mystique Garden.

The celebrations continue even after Eid, with performances by the electronic musical wonder Ash, on July 4th and 5th. Ash will perform a Sunset ‘Nomad Session’ at Mystique Garden and a 75-minute sunset show including unreleased tracks, whilst ‘floating’ on an over-water stage perched above the resort’s perfectly circular infinity pool at EAU Bar.
