Dhiraagu 3X3 Challenge returns with multiple age categories
Dhiraagu has announced that registrations for the Dhiraagu 3X3 Challenge basketball tournament will close on 24 February 2026. The tournament is scheduled to take place from 1 to 7 March 2025 at the Social Center Outdoor Court.
Organised by Titans Basketball Academy, the Dhiraagu 3X3 Challenge provides a competitive platform for young athletes to develop their skills and gain match experience in a structured and energetic environment. The tournament has continued to grow in popularity, with 408 players from 103 teams taking part in last year’s edition.
Registrations for the 2026 tournament are open across two categories.
Academy Category:
- Under 8 – Boys and Girls
- Under 10 – Boys and Girls
- Under 12 – Boys and Girls
Open Category:
- Under 14 – Boys and Girls
- Under 16 – Boys and Girls
- Under 18 – Boys and Girls
- Men’s Division 1
- Men’s Division 2
- Women’s Open
- Parents Men’s
- Parents Women’s
Interested teams can register through the official FIBA 3×3 platform.
Dhiraagu stated that its continued support for the 3X3 Challenge reflects the company’s broader commitment to developing sports such as basketball in the Maldives, while encouraging healthier and more active communities through organised sporting initiatives.
