Dhiraagu opens applications for 2026 Apprenticeship Programme

Dhiraagu has opened applications for the 2026 intake of the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme, the company’s flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative and the first corporate apprenticeship scheme of its kind in the Maldives.

The Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme is designed to support youth development through a structured educational and training framework, helping participants build practical work skills and gain exposure to a corporate working environment. The programme enables apprentices to earn while they learn, gaining on-the-job experience and training across various departments at Dhiraagu, including Administration, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Corporate Services, Finance, Human Resources and Technology.

The 2026 intake is open for placements at Dhiraagu Head Office in Malé, as well as at the company’s operations centres in Addu City, Kulhudhuffushi City, Laamu Atoll and Gaafu Atoll. Any Maldivian citizen between 18 and 30 years of age who has completed A’ Levels and is not currently employed full-time is eligible to apply.

Apprentices selected for the programme will receive training delivered by in-house specialists from different departments. The curriculum will focus on soft skills development and essential workplace competencies, including time management, personal management, project planning, presentation skills and other key areas.

Dhiraagu has been running its apprenticeship programme consecutively since 2009. Over this period, 288 apprentices have enrolled and many have gone on to build successful careers at Dhiraagu and other organisations across the Maldives.
