Finolhu all set for launch of 1OAK Island

The transformation of Finolhu into 1OAK Island will coincide with the first anniversary and launch of 1OAK Maldives. The three-day celebrations will see the ultimate tropical oasis of world-class entertainment featuring daily events, A-list performances, oceanside dinners and unique activations.

The funky beach festival entertainment, and gourmet food and drinks – themed ‘Summer Lovin’ – will kick off on July 28. On day one, guests will enjoy a day filled with pool parties, treasure hunts and a Bruce Lee inspired dinner. Guests will gather under the stars for an 80’s glam party complete with the greatest disco hits to transport you back in time, says The Small Maldives Island Co. Day two will continue with some fun in the sun at the hotspot of the island, the Fish & Crab Shack. Guests will be able to bring out their inner kid with beach volleyball, games and water rides, or just chill out and enjoy light bites and curated cocktails. The Baa Baa Beach Diner will be the evening hotspot for food trucks serving easy grazing food, before a one-of-a-kind night dancing to the smooth sounds of Grammy award-winning artist, Robin Thicke, says the statement.

As the weekend wraps up on July 30, the final day will be filled with tarot card readings and poolside spa treatments while guests unwind to the classic sounds of legendary 60’s and 70’s female artists like xxx and more, adds TSMIC.
