Hard Rock Hotel Maldives wins Tekkers Resort Cup 2024 South Kaafu Zone

The highly anticipated Dhiraagu Tekkers Resort Cup 2024 South Kaafu Zone has successfully concluded, with Hard Rock Hotel Maldives emerging as the champions. The tournament, held over the past two weeks, saw intense competition and remarkable displays of skill and sportsmanship from various resorts in the region.

The final match, held at the picturesque futsal pitch of Crossroads Maldives, was a thrilling encounter that kept the audience on the edge of their seats. Hard Rock Hotel Maldives showcased exceptional teamwork and strategy, ultimately securing their victory with a score of 5-2 on penalties against the runners-up, Crossroads Maldives.

The event, sponsored by Dhiraagu, the leading digital service provider in the Maldives, brought together resort teams from across the South Kaafu Zone. The tournament aimed to foster camaraderie among resort staff, promote healthy competition, and highlight the importance of sports in enhancing the guest experience at Maldivian resorts.

The closing ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives Frederic Claude Lebegue, General Manager of SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton & The Marina CROSSROADS Maldives Alexander Traeger, Assistant General Manager of Crossroads Marina Mohamed Adil as well senior representatives from Gold Partners: Commercial Bank of Maldives, Redbox and Alia Investments.

The South Kaafu champions, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, were awarded the prestigious Tekkers Resort Cup South Kaafu champion trophy and medals. Special individual awards were also presented as follows:
