Maldivian Chef Maha Naseer to Judge Thailand World Junior Chef Battle 2024

Renowned Maldivian culinary expert, Chef Maha Naseer, has been selected as a judge for the prestigious Thailand World Junior Chef Battle 2024. The event, set to take place in Bangkok from August 28 to 31, will showcase the skills of 16 teams, including 12 international and 4 Thai participants.

Representing diverse nations such as the Maldives, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Mongolia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, USA, Australia, and Greece, the young chefs will compete for the coveted title. A panel of esteemed international chefs, including Chef Maha, will evaluate their culinary creations.

With a distinguished career spanning decades, Chef Maha brings a wealth of experience to the judging panel. Previously serving as the Secretary General of the Chef Guild of Maldives and currently a board member of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation, her expertise is widely recognized.

Chef Maha is one of the few female executive chefs in the country and holds the distinction of being the first Maldivian to achieve the prestigious title of Master Chef. Her participation in this global culinary event further solidifies the growing international acclaim for Maldivian cuisine.
