Patina Maldives, Fari Islands appoints Anthony Gill as General Manager

Capella Hotel Group has announced key executive appointments across its properties in Asia and the Maldives, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s global expansion and its dedication to redefining luxury hospitality.

Among the appointments is Anthony Gill, who has been named General Manager of Patina Maldives, Fari Islands. Gill joins the property with over two decades of experience in luxury hospitality, having successfully rebranded prestigious resorts such as the Four Seasons Resort Nam Hai in Hoi An, Vietnam. His leadership at Four Seasons properties in China and Thailand further solidified his reputation for operational excellence and innovative guest experiences.

At Patina Maldives, Gill will focus on elevating the resort’s position as a transformative luxury destination, with a strong emphasis on creating meaningful experiences while maintaining the island’s role as a marine sanctuary.

Cristiano Rinaldi, President of Capella Hotel Group, commented, “With the strategic appointments of Anthony, Dennis, Antonio, and Hildegard, we are reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional luxury experiences across our remarkable destinations, including the Maldives. These leaders bring diverse expertise, championing sustainability, enhancing culinary offerings, and redefining guest journeys. Their contributions will advance our vision of transforming each destination into a bespoke experience for our guests.”

In addition to Patina Maldives, the new appointments extend to other Capella properties in Bangkok, Hanoi, and the soon-to-open Capella Taipei in Q1 2025, underlining the group’s dynamic approach to leadership in luxury hospitality.

With these appointments, the Capella Hotel Group continues its trajectory of growth and innovation, cementing its position as a leader in luxury travel and experiential stays.
