Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025: Finalists set as Vommuli triumphs in semi-final clash

The second Grand Semi-Final of the Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 took place on 5th November 2025 at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, delivering a strong and commanding performance from The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli.

The evening began with the official ceremony, hosted by Sheraton Maldives, as the teams entered to the FIFA anthem, followed by the national anthem. Chief guests then joined the players on the pitch for the formal greetings ahead of kick-off.

Once the match began, St. Regis Vommuli took control early. They scored the opening goal in the first half, setting the pace at 1–0. In the second half, Vommuli extended their lead with two more goals, securing a confident 3–0 victory and earning their place in the Grand Final. This win now places them alongside the first finalists, following the result of the opening Semi -Final held on 4th November, where JOALI Maldives secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Joy Island.

With both Semi-Finals complete, the stage is now set for the ultimate showdown. JOALI Maldives will face The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli in the Grand Final on 7th November 2025. The much-anticipated match will take place at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa at 16:30.
