Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025: Raa Zone set to kick off at Cora Cora Maldives

The Tekkers Dhiraagu Resort Cup 2025 now shifts to the Raa zone, where the tournament is set to commence on 31st July 2025. Hosted by Cora Cora Maldives, the competition will feature three prominent teams — Cora Cora Maldives, Joali Maldives, and Ifuru Island Maldives — all vying for the prestigious title of Raa Atoll Champion and the opportunity to advance to the national stage.

The tournament will open with a much-anticipated encounter between Cora Cora Maldives and Joali Maldives at the host venue, Cora Cora Maldives. With a packed schedule of back-to-back fixtures and high stakes, the event promises intense competition and standout performances from all three teams.

The group stage will consist of three matches, followed by a semi-final and final:

• Match 1: Cora Cora Maldives vs Joali Maldives
• Match 2: Joali Maldives vs Ifuru Island Maldives
• Match 3: Cora Cora Maldives vs Ifuru Island Maldives

Following the group stage, the teams finishing second and third will compete in a semi-final for the chance to face the group leader in the final. The winner of the Raa Atoll Final will be crowned Raa Zone Champion and will proceed to face the Baa Zone Champion in the upcoming Zone Semi-Final.

In a recent update, the Noonu Zone segment of the tournament has concluded, with Velaa Private Island claiming the title after a 4–1 victory over Soneva Jani in the final. Velaa Private Island then went on to defeat Le Meridien Maldives, the Lhaviyani Zone Champion, with another commanding 4–1 win in the Zone Semi-Final. They now await the winner of the Raa vs Baa Zone Semi-Final to determine who progresses further in the competition.

The opening match of the Raa Zone tournament will take place on 31st July 2025 at 16:30 at Cora Cora Maldives, featuring the host team against Joali Maldives. The Raa Atoll Champion will earn a place in the Zone Semi-Final.
