Key Duties

The director / manager of revenue management provides directional leadership in the development of revenue strategies which fulfil the mission and long–term strategic plan of the properties under the general guidance and supervision of Senior Regional Director of Revenue Management - Asia Pacific and SAVP, Head of Revenue. The selected candidate is responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of revenue generation at the properties to include pricing, distribution, promotions, group evaluation, leisure and corporate revenue production, food & beverage sales, market penetration, as well as leading and being responsible for the Area Reservations Office by ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the Team in processing all incoming enquiries/reservations as well as maximizing incremental revenue through the various up-selling options, while adhering to the policies and standards set out by Corporate Office.

Director, Sales & Marketing - Amari Kuda Kurathu

The upcoming Amari resort in Kuda Kurathu, Maldives, is seeking professional and experienced candidates to fill the position of Director, Sale & Marketing (Pre-opening Team).

Key Duties

You will be responsible to prepare sales report and annual Sales and Marketing Plan; create an effective sales strategy plan across market segmentations and geo-sources; lead, motivate and support the Sales Team in achieving their financial goals; develop rate, group sales deployment strategy through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management; prepare, implement and compile data for strategies sales plan, monthly report, annual goals, sale budget, forecast and other report and required; prepare and execute rebranding project for the property including repositioning and alignment under Sales & Marketing areas; and oversee and/or initiate marketing initiatives and contents for the property to create brand awareness and recognition in the market.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a hotel industry related field (e.g. Diploma in Hotel Management)
  • Excellent in analytical & problem solving skills by utilizing data with the commercial aspect
  • Minimum three-five years’ experience in the Maldives market, automated sales management systems, experiences in revenues and/or distribution is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of Delphi, and familiarity with the management of IDeaS (G2 and G3 Systems), Sabre, OTA Insight, Opera, PMS and HaloBI systems is advantageous
  • Experience pre-opening luxury hotel in Maldives is a huge plus
