Travel Creators Exchange scheduled for February 1, 2024
In a collaborative effort, four prominent tourism-focused media outlets—Maldives Insider, Maldives Virtual Tour, Travel Trade Maldives, and Hotelier Maldives—have come together to organise the Travel Creators Exchange. This networking event aims to empower travel content creators based in the Maldives and enhance the Maldives’ status as a prime destination for captivating travel storytelling.
Taking place on February 1, 2024, at the Hotel Jen in Male’, Maldives, the Travel Creators Exchange offers a dynamic platform for networking and collaboration among Maldives-based travel creators. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with industry peers, share ideas, and establish lasting partnerships that will expand their opportunities and enable them to monetise their content.
Ibrahim Mahudhee, Director of Maldives Insider/Hotelier Maldives, expressed enthusiasm about hosting this groundbreaking event. He stated, “We are thrilled to host this groundbreaking event, bringing together passionate travel creators from across the Maldives to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and collectively elevate the Maldivian travel narrative.”
Akhmeem Abdul Razzaq, CEO of Orca Media Group, which operates Travel Trade Maldives/Maldives Virtual Tour, emphasised the event’s significance in empowering Maldives-based travel content creators. The Travel Creators Exchange 2024 welcomes all Maldives-based travel content creators, irrespective of their experience level. The event is tailored to empower aspiring storytellers to enhance their skills, enable experienced influencers to refine their techniques, and assist all creators in elevating their impact in the travel industry.
