JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa has announced the promotion of Chef Bir Yadav to Director of Food and Beverage, marking a transformative step for the resort’s culinary journey. This advancement reflects Bir’s vast culinary expertise, dynamic leadership, and dedication to elevating luxury dining experiences in the Maldives.
With over two decades of culinary expertise, Chef Bir’s journey began in India, where his passion for gastronomy was ignited. Since then, he has refined his craft at some of the world’s most prestigious properties, including Four Seasons, The Oberoi, and distinguished Maldivian resorts like Vakkaru and Faarufushi, bringing his exceptional skills and innovative approach to JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa.
Since joining JW Marriott Maldives as Executive Chef, Bir has been instrumental in driving culinary innovation, seamlessly aligning creativity with the resort’s mindfulness-driven philosophy. Under his guidance, the resort earned the accolade of Best Culinary Resort at the Travel Trade Maldives 2024 Awards.
In this new role, Bir will further enhance the dining journey, elevating the experiences across the resort’s five restaurants and three bars.
