Amilla Maldives has announced the appointment of seasoned hospitality professional Gaurav Makhijani as its new Director of Sales. The move is set to bolster the resort’s commercial strategy and drive its continued growth in the global luxury travel market.

Gaurav Makhijani steps into the role with an impressive career spanning over 14 years in luxury hospitality sales. His extensive experience in the Maldivian market is particularly noteworthy, having held senior leadership roles at some of the destination’s most acclaimed properties. His professional journey includes impactful tenures at Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives, The OZEN Collection, and Jumeirah Maldives.

Throughout his career, Makhijani has earned a reputation for his strategic, relationship-driven approach to sales, consistently delivering exceptional results and fostering strong industry partnerships. His wealth of knowledge and deep industry insight are expected to be significant assets for Amilla Maldives.

In his new position, Gaurav will spearhead all sales initiatives for the resort. His key responsibilities will include developing and executing robust sales strategies, working closely with international travel and trade partners to drive business growth, and enhancing the brand’s visibility on a global scale.
