Maldives Autism Association awarded 2025 Hard Rock Heals Foundation Grant

Hard Rock Hotel Maldives has announced that the Maldives Autism Association has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Hard Rock Heals Foundation Grant. The association has been awarded a grant of $5,000 to support its mission of fostering a collaborative environment among parents, community leaders, and educators, and to provide personalised interventions for young minds on the autism spectrum.

Nominated by the team at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, the Maldives Autism Association was chosen from a global pool of nominees as part of Hard Rock’s ongoing global commitment to healing through philanthropy. The grant is one of 50 awarded this year by the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, representing a total of $250,000 in charitable contributions to local organisations across the world.

With the support of this grant, the Maldives Autism Association aims to further develop its comprehensive curriculum, which focuses on practical academics, life skills, and creative expression. The programme is designed to empower children with autism spectrum disorders by nurturing independence, emotional well-being, and self-confidence. It also provides opportunities for artistic expression, physical engagement, and social learning. The overarching goal is to help these children thrive and integrate fully into their families, schools, and wider communities.
