Hard Rock Hotel Maldives unites for Breast Cancer Awareness this PINKTOBER

Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is joining Hard Rock International’s 26th annual breast cancer awareness initiative this October, marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a series of community and guest activities under the global PINKTOBER campaign.

Guests and visitors at CROSSROADS Maldives can take part in several initiatives aimed at raising awareness and supporting the Cancer Society of Maldives:

  • Community Fun Run (18 October): A spirited event designed to unite the community and highlight the importance of breast cancer education and early detection.
  • Pink-Themed Room Upgrades: Guests can enhance their stay with rooms featuring pink décor and exclusive guitars from the Play It Pink, Play It Forward collection, with part of the proceeds benefiting the Cancer Society of Maldives.
  • Play It Pink, Play It Forward: Guests may rent one of three signature pink guitars, with all rental proceeds donated directly to the Cancer Society of Maldives.
  • Dining for a Cause: Hard Rock Cafe Maldives will offer all burgers on limited-edition pink buns, alongside specially crafted pink cocktails and mocktails, with half of the proceeds also directed to the Cancer Society of Maldives.

Each year, a portion of global proceeds from Hard Rock International’s breast cancer awareness campaign is donated to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation®, the brand’s charitable arm supporting breast cancer awareness and research worldwide. Since its inception, the campaign has raised more than USD 13 million for breast cancer research.

“Breast cancer affects individuals and families within our community and across the globe. We are proud to be part of Hard Rock’s international efforts and deeply appreciative of the guests who support the work towards finding a cure,” said Frédéric Lebègue, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Maldives.
