RAH GILI MALDIVES to host Recruitment Open Day at Maagiri Hotel on 11 December
RAH GILI MALDIVES, the debut island in the SIX & SIX PRIVATE ISLANDS portfolio, will host a Recruitment Open Day on 11 December 2025 at Maagiri Hotel, Malé. As the resort prepares to open in early 2026, the event invites men and women from across the Maldives to explore career opportunities within workplace shaped by care, culture, and shared purpose.
RAH GILI is guided by the Rayyithun philosophy — a people-first approach that honours the spirit and rhythm of Maldivian island life. The Rayyithun are the quiet custodians of place — from the Masverin who bring the catch, to the Maavadin who shape and build, to the Beruverin who give rhythm to the island. At RAH GILI, these archetypes shape both story and structure — forming the foundation of a hospitality experience grounded in purpose and pride.
Opportunities span a wide range of departments including Butler & Guest Services, Culinary, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Wellness, Spa, Engineering, Landscaping and more. Both seasoned professionals and those entering the workforce for the first time are encouraged to attend. Women seeking to build meaningful, long-term careers in hospitality are especially welcome.
“We are shaping something quietly powerful — a resort that reflects the rhythm and richness of our islands,” said Ishaam Saeed, Director of Human Resources, RAH GILI MALDIVES. “We’re looking for individuals who bring care to what they do, who listen deeply, and who value the strength of working together. In every island community, women have carried knowledge, care, and quiet leadership — and their contributions will continue to be deeply valued at RAH GILI MALDIVES.”
During the event, attendees will meet key department heads, explore the island’s vision, and learn more about signature programmes such as the Edhurun concept — a reimagining of butler service inspired by the Maldivian tradition of mentorship and presence.
