Dhiraagu, MNU form strategic partnership through ‘MNU InnovateHub Powered By Dhiraagu’

The Maldivian National University has entered into a strategic partnership with Dhiraagu to support student innovation and entrepreneurship through “MNU InnovateHub Powered By Dhiraagu”.

The strategic partnership was formally established through a Partnership Formalising Ceremony held at the Maldivian National University marking a key milestone in efforts to nurture youth-led innovation and contribute to the development of a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Maldives.

Through this partnership, MNU InnovateHub is formally introduced as “MNU InnovateHub Powered By Dhiraagu.” The programme is designed to support students in transforming innovative ideas into practical and scalable solutions, contributing meaningfully to national development and long-term sustainability.

MNU InnovateHub is a key university-incubator programme which focuses on capacity building, mentorship, ideation, validation, and early-stage venture development. The programme aligns with strategic goals as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reinforcing a shared commitment to responsible and sustainable innovation.

As part of the strategic partnership, Dhiraagu will provide both financial and in-kind support to the programme. This includes mentorship support, participation as judges at pitch events, and providing Dhiraagu’s HighSpeed Fiber Internet to the incubator space to support the incubation journey.

This strategic partnership reflects Dhiraagu’s continued commitment to empowering youth, advancing digital innovation, and supporting entrepreneurship in the Maldives. By investing in the next generation of innovators, Dhiraagu aims to play an active role in fostering future-ready talent and driving sustainable national development.
