Atmosphere Core appoints David Alan Burley as General Manager of OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi and OBLU SELECT Lobigili

Atmosphere Core has announced the appointment of David Alan Burley as General Manager of OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi and OBLU SELECT Lobigili, two resorts within the COLOURS OF OBLU brand. In his new role, he will lead the management teams at both properties, oversee day-to-day operations and guide their continued development, with a focus on growth and guest-focused excellence.

David brings extensive international hospitality experience to the position, having held senior leadership roles across the Caribbean, China, France, the Middle East and the United Kingdom with globally recognised brands. His exposure to diverse markets and operating environments has shaped a broad global perspective, strong strategic capability and a people-centred leadership style. This depth of experience is expected to support higher operational standards, reinforce service culture and enhance the overall guest experience at both resorts.

Commenting on the appointment, David Alan Burley said that OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi and OBLU SELECT Lobigili represent two distinctive expressions of Atmosphere Core’s commitment to experience-led hospitality.
