MATATO invites industry partners to participate in Las Vegas Travel Agent Forum 2026
The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has invited Maldivian tourism industry stakeholders to participate in the Las Vegas Travel Agent Forum (LVTAF) 2026, scheduled to take place from 12–15 May 2026 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, United States of America.
LVTAF is a well-established B2B leisure travel trade event that brings together over 1,000 vetted travel advisors from the United States and Canada, including high-performing agents with strong sales records and significant influence over long-haul and premium destination bookings. The forum provides an effective platform for suppliers to engage directly with North American travel advisors through pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings, roundtable discussions, and networking sessions.
The United States remains a strategically important source market for Maldivian tourism. As highlighted in the official MATATO circular, the US ranked among the top ten source markets for the Maldives, underscoring the continued importance of targeted trade engagement and relationship-building within North America.
As outlined in the circular, MATATO will serve as the official representative of LVTAF for the Maldives, coordinating and facilitating the participation of Maldivian tourism stakeholders. In this role, MATATO will act as the primary liaison with the event organizers, support partner registrations, and ensure a unified, professional, and impactful Maldives presence at the forum.
Participation opportunities are open to resorts, hotel groups, destination management companies, travel agents and tour operators, liveaboard operators, airlines, and destination service providers. A range of official participation and booth packages are available, offering varying levels of exposure, meetings, and branding opportunities, as detailed in the MATATO circular.
MATATO has encouraged interested industry partners to review the circular and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)within the specified deadline to confirm participation and receive further coordination and logistical information.
Commenting on the initiative, MATATO noted that participation in LVTAF 2026 presents a valuable opportunity for Maldivian tourism businesses to strengthen trade relationships in the North American market, particularly with advisors specializing in long-haul, luxury, and experiential travel.
