Dhiraagu signs as Platinum Partner for Hotelier Maldives Awards and GM Forum 2026
Dhiraagu has signed on as the Platinum Partner for the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2026 and GM Forum 2026, marking the second consecutive year of partnership with Hotelier Maldives.
The renewed agreement reaffirms Dhiraagu’s continued commitment to supporting the Maldivian hospitality sector, a key pillar of the national economy, by recognising professional excellence and fostering meaningful leadership dialogue within the industry.
The Hotelier Maldives Awards 2026 will be the third edition of the annual awards programme dedicated to recognising hospitality professionals across the Maldives. The awards remain the only national platform focused exclusively on individual professionals and teams working within the hospitality industry.
The GM Forum 2026, now in its 12th edition, will continue its role as a key annual gathering for general managers and senior hospitality leaders, providing a platform for discussion on industry trends, operational challenges, leadership development, and the future of tourism in the Maldives.
Commenting on the renewed partnership, Ali Riyaz, Chief Commercial Officer of Dhiraagu, said: “As one of the key drivers of the Maldivian economy, the hospitality sector thrives on the people behind it. Our continued partnership with Hotelier Maldives reflects Dhiraagu’s commitment to supporting industry professionals, encouraging innovation, and contributing to the long-term development of tourism in the Maldives.”
Ali Naafiz, Editor of Hotelier Maldives, welcomed the renewal, noting: “We are pleased to continue our partnership with Dhiraagu for a second year as Platinum Partner. Dhiraagu’s support plays an important role in strengthening both the Hotelier Maldives Awards and the GM Forum, enabling us to recognise hospitality professionals and bring industry leaders together for meaningful dialogue that supports the sector’s growth.”
Both events are scheduled to take place in 2026, with further details on dates, venues, and programme highlights to be announced in the coming months.
