Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives has announced the promotion of Krisztina Vaszjunyina to Resort Manager, recognising her exceptional leadership, operational expertise, and dedication to delivering outstanding guest experiences at the award-winning luxury island retreat.
Krisztina has been an integral part of the Kuda Villingili leadership team since 2021, when she joined the resort as Director of Rooms. In this role, she successfully oversaw several key operational departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Recreation and Transportation, ensuring seamless coordination and consistently high standards of service across the resort.
Her strong operational insight and commitment to service excellence led to her promotion to Director of Operations, where she further expanded her responsibilities across the resort’s daily operations. Working closely with department heads and the executive team, Krisztina played a pivotal role in strengthening operational efficiency, enhancing the guest journey, and fostering a collaborative culture across the island.
With more than 15 years of international hospitality experience, Krisztina brings a wealth of expertise gained across luxury resorts in the Maldives, Cyprus and Greece. Prior to joining Kuda Villingili, she held leadership roles at renowned properties including Cheval Blanc Randheli and Anassa Hotel, where she developed a strong reputation for operational excellence, team leadership, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Her promotion also reflects Kuda Villingili’s commitment to nurturing talent and empowering strong female leadership within the resort’s management team. Krisztina’s journey within the property stands as a testament to the resort’s culture of growth, mentorship, and recognition of dedication and expertise.
In her new role as Resort Manager, Krisztina will oversee the resort’s daily operations, working closely with the leadership team to further elevate service standards while continuing to create memorable experiences for guests visiting the island.
