Mohamed Idhaadh leads technology operations at Madifushi Private Island
Madifushi Private Island has recognised the contribution of its IT Manager, Mohamed Idhaadh, whose experience in information technology continues to support the resort’s digital infrastructure and daily operations.
Idhaadh joined Madifushi Private Island in January 2025, bringing more than 14 years of experience in the Maldivian hospitality industry. During his career, he has held technology leadership roles at several resorts, overseeing IT systems that support both operational efficiency and guest services.
At Madifushi Private Island, Idhaadh is responsible for managing the resort’s IT operations, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, disaster recovery planning and user support. His role focuses on ensuring that the resort’s technology systems remain secure, reliable and available.
Throughout his career, he has led a range of technology projects, including infrastructure upgrades, server virtualisation, network optimisation, cybersecurity improvements and the implementation of hospitality technology platforms. His technical expertise includes Opera PMS, Oracle MICROS, Fusion, Microsoft 365, VMware, Fortinet, 3CX, GPON networks and enterprise security solutions.
Before joining Madifushi Private Island, Idhaadh served in several leadership positions at Furaveri Maldives, progressing from IT Supervisor to Assistant IT Manager before being appointed IT Manager. He has also worked at Bennia Kottefaru, Kihaa Maldives, Palm Beach Island Resort & Spa and Link Serve.
In addition to managing technology systems, Idhaadh has focused on strengthening cybersecurity, developing resilient IT environments and supporting team development through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Commenting on his role, Idhaadh said his objective is to use technology to support both guest satisfaction and operational performance.
