Dhiraagu hands over second speedboat to promotion winner

Dhiraagu has handed over the second and final speedboat awarded under its ‘Win 2 Speedboats’ promotion.

The prize, an Al Shaali Marine Canary 28 sports speedboat powered by a Yamaha 250HP outboard engine, was presented to Mohamed Yoosuf of Malé during a ceremony held at the Al Shaali Marine boatyard.

Dhiraagu Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed handed over the speedboat to Yoosuf.

Recalling the moment he was informed that he had won the grand prize, Yoosuf said the news brought joy to him and his family.

Yoosuf has been a Dhiraagu customer since the early years of fixed-line telephone services and has used Dhiraagu Mobile services for the past 28 years. He thanked the company for providing customers with opportunities to win prizes through its promotions.

The ‘Win 2 Speedboats’ promotion was launched in August 2025 and was open to existing and new Dhiraagu Prepaid, Postpaid and Fibre Broadband customers.

Customers who met the qualifying criteria and enrolled in the promotion before 31 March 2026 were entered into the draw to win one of two sports speedboats.

The company said the promotion attracted participation from customers across the Maldives. Abdulla Saeed was announced earlier in the year as the winner of the first speedboat.

Dhiraagu said it would continue to offer promotions and experiences for its customers across the country.
