INEO undertakes commercial kitchen ventilation installation at Vilamendhoo Island Resort
Vilamendhoo Island Resort & Spa is a tropical island resort in the Maldives. At its Funama Buffet Restaurant, INEO is currently carrying out commercial kitchen installation work, focusing on exhaust and ventilation infrastructure.
The project is part of INEO’s ongoing work in the Maldives hospitality sector, where reliable kitchen systems and careful on-site coordination are essential to daily food preparation.
On-Site Kitchen Installation
INEO’s scope includes exhaust hoods, fans, and ductwork across several kitchen areas at Funama Buffet Restaurant.
During the current installation stage, key work has been completed in the dishwashing area, where the exhaust hood system and fan installation are in place. Ductwork installation has also been completed for the exhaust systems serving Hot Kitchen Areas A and B, as well as the steaming and Chinese kitchen areas.
These systems form an important part of the kitchen’s ventilation infrastructure, helping support the working environment across different food preparation zones.
Coordinating Work on Site
Commercial kitchen installation requires more than delivering equipment. Actual site dimensions, supporting structures, electrical connections, and coordination with other contractors all affect the installation process.
At Vilamendhoo, INEO’s team is coordinating the remaining installation requirements with the relevant parties, including support structure checks and electrical connections for the exhaust fans.
This hands-on approach helps identify outstanding site requirements and keep installation activities organised as the project progresses.
