Amilla Maldives appoints Shiman Mohamed as Resort Manager

Amilla Maldives has announced the appointment of Shiman Mohamed as the resort’s new Resort Manager.

With over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality across the Maldives and beyond, Shiman brings a rare combination of operational expertise and genuine care for both guests and team members. His leadership style is people-focused, blending operational excellence with a dedication to creating memorable and meaningful experiences.

Shiman joins Amilla after holding leadership roles at some of the region’s most prestigious resorts, including Jumeirah Olhahali Island, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, Crossroads Maldives, and Centara Hotels & Resorts. Since November 2025, he has been shaping the guest and team experience at Amilla Maldives as Resort Manager, bringing a unique blend of Human Resources expertise and hands-on operational leadership gained throughout his distinguished career.
