He added that Giovannelli’s experience and sensibility are well suited to BORGO MONCHIERO HERITAGE by Atmosphere, where history and contemporary hospitality intersect, and expressed confidence that his leadership will help shape a distinctive and memorable guest experience.
BORGO MONCHIERO HERITAGE by Atmosphere is a carefully restored 18th-century monastery originally built in 1773. The luxury retreat blends sacred frescoes, Romanesque architecture and the art, culture and cuisine of northern Italy. Located in a region renowned for its Barolo and Barbera wines, the intimate three-storey hillside property features 19 rooms reimagined from former monastic cells, a private chapel for weddings and intimate ceremonies, a restaurant highlighting local cuisine, an elegant lounge bar, a panoramic swimming pool, and a wellness area offering a sauna, infrared therapies and a private jacuzzi set within a centuries-old water reservoir.
