BML launches weekly $1,000 promotion for dollar debit card users

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched a new promotion offering customers the chance to win $1,000 each week by using its US Dollar Debit Card.

According to the bank, the campaign will run for seven weeks and continue until 30 July.

The promotion is open to customers who newly apply for a Dollar Debit Card issued by BML. To qualify for the weekly draw, customers must make transactions totalling at least $100 using the card.

BML said eligible transactions include retail purchases, subscription payments, ticket bookings and payments for digital services.

The bank noted that customers who meet the spending requirement during the promotion period will be entered into the weekly prize draw, with one winner selected each week.

The campaign forms part of BML’s efforts to encourage the use of its Dollar Debit Card for international and online transactions.
