Coco Collection appoints Alexi Argyris as General Manager of Coco Bodu Hithi, Michelin-starred chef Martin Cahill as Group Culinary Director
Leading luxury resort brand Coco Collection has announced Alexi Argyris as the General Manager of Coco Bodu Hithi resort, as well as the appointment of new executive leaders in key roles to their operations team: Chef Martin Cahill as their new Group Culinary Director, and Herman van Zyl as Director of Engineering & Projects.
Alexi Argyris joins Coco Collection with global experience spanning over 24 years in the hospitality industry. Having previously served as General Manager at the historic Liss Ard Estate in Ireland and The Rooster in Greece, Alexi is well-acquainted with the effective management of boutique luxury properties. Alexi has also utilised his skills at esteemed establishments like Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, as well as Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, and has a remarkable track record of achievements in the hospitality sector. As General Manager, Alexi will be spearheading a comprehensive enhancement of the guest experience at the luxury Coco Bodu Hithi resort.
Martin Cahill is a Michelin-starred chef with a global career spanning almost thirty years. He joins Coco Collection having previously served as the Executive Chef at ultra-luxury properties such as Rosewood London and the Dukes Hotel in Dubai. Chef Martin started his career in some of the most prestigious hotels of London including The Dorchester and The Savoy, before eventually taking on his first Chef de Cuisine role at the Grill Restaurant in Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. In his new role, Chef Martin will be leading the talented culinary team to redefine the Food & Beverage experience across all the Coco Collection properties.
Herman van Zyl is a technical expert with international management experience spanning over 15 years. He has a strong academic foundation and holds advanced degrees in technical engineering and project management. A multi-specialised individual, Herman has managed projects within the sectors of construction, engineering, and heavy infrastructure construction. With his extensive skills and experience, Herman is well-placed to play a key role in the continued growth of Coco Collection.
