The third Hotelier Maldives GM Forum will take place on April 18, 2018, and will be held in Kurumba Maldives, the first resort to open in the country in 1973.
Inaugurated in 2016, the Hotelier Maldives GM Forum features keynote speeches from industry leaders and panel discussions from experts in the tourism and hospitality industry in the Maldives and the region. Topics covered in the forum provide insight into relevant and significant trends in the industry.
The first and second GM Forums featured industry pioneers MU Maniku and Hussain Afeef (Champa) as keynote speakers; both recognised as pioneers and leaders who oversee the operations of a number of properties in the country well and lead the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI).
GM Forum 2018 will feature notable speakers and panel discussions on topics including tourism-related taxation, trends in destination marketing, guest transfers and non-room revenue from resorts.
While GMs and corporate hoteliers will have free access to the Forum, a limited number of delegate passes will also be available for a fee for suppliers and others who wish to attend the Forum and networking events including a post-event networking cocktail at Kurumba Maldives on the evening of April 18, 2018.
Registration for the Hotelier Maldives GM Forum 2018 will open in January 2018 and will be announced through the Hotelier Maldives website and other media.
