JA Manafaru kicks off Ramadan Futsal League 2024

The JA Manafaru Ramadan Futsal League 2024, a futsal league organized by JA Manafaru specifically for the team members working at the resort, kicked off with enthusiasm as six teams geared up for the competition. Among the participants were Red Zone, Lions, Thedheke Thedheke, Maanakaa, FC Hope, and Team Arrow.

The league, an integral part of JA Manafaru’s commitment to employee welfare and entertainment, aligns with the core values of the resort, which prioritize various activities for team members for recreation and team development. Offering valuable prizes and mementos, the competition aimed to enhance camaraderie and sportsmanship among the associates while ensuring their well-being.

To ensure fair play, two referees registered with the Football Association of Maldives (FAM) were appointed to officiate the matches throughout the tournament.

Team Lions secured their spot in the Finals by clinching the top position in the league. Meanwhile, Red Zone and Thedheke Thedheke, securing the second and third positions respectively, will battle it out in the Semi-Finals scheduled for Friday, 22 March 2024.

Acknowledgements were extended to the HR Team for their meticulous organization and to all associates for their unwavering support, which contributed to the success of the Ramadan Futsal League. Special recognition was reserved for Corporate Concierge Services (CCS) for their generous contribution towards the social and welfare activities of the associates. CCS sponsored a cash voucher of 10K Maldivian Rufiyaa for the Champion Team and 5K Maldivian Rufiyaa for the Runner-Up team of the JA Manafaru Ramadan Futsal League 2024.
