Kandholhu Maldives introduces Dhivehi Raha degustation menu, starlit cinema
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Kandholhu Maldives has introduced a Dhivehi Raha (Maldivian Taste) degustation menu and set up a starlit cinema on the beach for its guests.
The five-course degustation menu was pioneered by Executive Chef Mickaël Farina. Designed to showcase the best of Maldivian cuisine, it will be served in a perfect setting on the beach to the sound of the ocean every few months.
Famous recipes are redesigned with care, including the all-time favourite Maldivian breakfast ‘Roshi and Mashuni’; authentic flatbread paired with coconut, spices and a local favorite, tuna.
‘Garudhiya’ is also featured, arguably the most staple dish of the locals, consisting of a tuna broth cooked to perfection in brine and accompanied with rice or roshi and served with chili, lemon, onion, or ginger.
For dessert, “Banbukeyo Bondibai”, fragrant with cinnamon and cardamom, offers a sweet touch to the end of a delicious meal.
The resort has also introduced its private open air cinema under the stars, coupled with an exclusive selection of delicious pop-corn flavours. Guests are invited to walk through the red velvet rope, choose from 7 different recipes ranging from truffle oil & black lava salt to Valrhona chocolate and enjoy their favourite flick.
Ringed by an intricate and stunning coral garden, teeming with colourful reef fish, Kandolhu Island is a patch of paradise hidden in the North Ari Atoll of the Maldives. Intimate and bare, this tiny gem is encircled with wide beaches that are veiled by the emerald green ocean that Maldives is known for.
The island is famous for its elegant villas and unique glass bathrooms, impeccable landscaping and its bespoke service with genuine hospitality.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
