Kudafushi Resort promotes Mohamed Jameel as General Manager
Kudafushi Resort & Spa has promoted Mohamed Jameel to the position of General Manager.
Jameel’s journey in the industry began over 20 years ago as a commis chef at Fun Island Resort. From there, he honed his culinary skills and gained experience at renowned resorts such as Sun Island, Huvafen Fushi, and One&Only Resorts. His talent and passion for the industry saw him ascend the ranks, eventually becoming an Executive Chef and later taking on dual roles as Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager at Kihaa Maldives.
In 2017, Jameel joined the pre-opening team of Kudafushi Resort & Spa, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the resort’s culinary excellence. His dedication and leadership led to his promotion to Executive Assistant Manager, where he oversaw the resort’s day-to-day operations, working closely with the Managing Director to implement key strategies.
Kudafushi Resort & Spa is known for its secluded island location and accommodations. The resort offers a variety of dining options, recreational activities such as watersports and diving, and a world-class spa. Jameel’s leadership and culinary background have contributed significantly to enhancing the guest experience at the resort.
