In his new role, Asaf brings a wealth of experience and an unwavering dedication to enhancing the culinary and F&B offerings at Le Méridien Maldives.

Known for his infectious enthusiasm and signature catchphrase, “Cannot be better, I am in paradise,” Chef Asaf brings a unique blend of joy and passion to his work, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he meets. Hailing from Turkey, Asaf has enriched the vibrant and dynamic culinary experience at Le Méridien Maldives by introducing his grandma’s cherished recipe to the resort’s new menu. His deep-rooted culinary heritage and positive attitude make every dish a celebration of flavours and culture.

As Executive Assistant Manager for F&B and Culinary, Asaf will oversee the resort’s food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest standards of excellence and innovation.
