Madifushi Private Island appoints Nazim ‘Naadhu’ Mohamed as Resort Manager

Madifushi Private Island has appointed Nazim Mohamed — mostly known in the industry as ‘Naadhu’ — as the new Resort Manager. As one of the first internationally trained butlers in the country, Naadhu has continually elevated the standard of service excellence throughout his career.

Starting his career as a butler at Soneva Fushi, Naadhu quickly established a strong foundation in delivering exceptional guest experiences. His expertise and attention to detail were further honed during his role as Assistant Head Butler at Coco Palm Boduhithi, where he played an integral part in developing and implementing innovative butler concepts.

As he advanced in his career, Naadhu transitioned to leadership roles, becoming Front Office Manager at both Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas and Vakkaru Maldives. Here, he exhibited an exceptional ability to manage complex operations, lead diverse teams, and ensure a seamless guest experience. His contributions were vital in maintaining the high standards of these renowned resorts.

Further refining his leadership and operational expertise, Naadhu held managerial positions at W Maldives and Pullman Maldives Maamutaa. His invaluable skills were on full display when he took on the role of Resort Manager at Oaga Art Resort, overseeing every aspect of the resort’s operations. His leadership ensured successful strategic planning, budgeting, cost management, property maintenance, and a focus on people management, contributing significantly to the resort’s growth and reputation.

Naadhu has also played a key role in the pre-opening phases of three luxury resorts—Vakkaru Maldives, JOALI Being, and Oaga Art Resort—demonstrating his ability to lead high-stakes projects and ensure smooth property launches. His vast experience, knowledge, and leadership continue to inspire those who work with him.

In addition to his career achievements, Naadhu has completed three butler courses, further enhancing his expertise in luxury service, and has earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), positioning him as a well-rounded leader in hospitality.
