Maldives Marriott Business Council Hosts Annual ROAD TO GIVE Charity Run

On Saturday, October 7, the Maldives Marriott Business Council hosted its annual ROAD TO GIVE charity run. The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Vice President Faisal Naseem and encouraged participants to embrace all forms of movements beyond running such as walking, cycling, swimming and others.

The initiative is part of Marriott International’s TakeCare that adopt a people first-approach. The event was a great success, with hundreds of participants coming together to support a worthy cause.

The run started at 7 AM at Hulhumale Central Park and ended at 9 AM. Participants of all ages and abilities participated in the event, and there was a festive atmosphere in the air.

At the closing ceremony, Renato De Oliveira, Chairman of Maldives Business Council and General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, thanked all participants for their support. It was also announced that the event had raised more than $15,000 for local charities.

The ROAD TO GIVE charity run is a great example of how the Maldives Marriott Business Council is committed to giving back to the community. The event is a fun and healthy way for people to come together and make a difference.
