
Male’ Aerated Water Company renews partnership with Hotelier Maldives as exclusive Beverage Partner for 2025 events
Hotelier Maldives, the leading B2B hospitality media group, has announced that Male’ Aerated Water Company (MAWC) will return as the exclusive Beverage Partner for two of its flagship events in 2025 – the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025, presented by Bestbuy Maldives (BBM), and the Hotelier Maldives General Managers (GM) Forum 2025. This marks the second consecutive year of collaboration between Hotelier Maldives and MAWC, the exclusive bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company beverages in Maldives, as beverage partner for both events.
The partnership underscores MAWC’s continued support for the Maldives’ hospitality sector and its professionals.

Following a successful launch in 2024—with over 300 nominations and 100,000 public votes—the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025 edition has seen even greater engagement. Over 450 nominations were submitted before the deadline on February 10, 2025. This year’s awards also introduced four new categories.
Judging took place between February 20 and March 15, and shortlisted nominees were subject to public voting until April 25, 2025. This year, public engagement surged with over 600,000 votes cast. Winners will be decided through a transparent scoring process combining judges’ marks (60%) and public votes (40%).
The Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025 aims to become the definitive platform recognising the people who make hospitality in the Maldives exceptional—across frontlines, back-of-house, and corporate roles.
In addition to the Awards, MAWC will also support the Hotelier Maldives GM Forum 2025, the only dedicated event for general managers in the Maldives’ resort industry. The forum brings together top executives, industry leaders, and policymakers for dialogue on critical challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.
Both events form a core part of Hotelier Maldives’ mission to support and spotlight the talent, leadership, and partnerships that continue to drive the country’s hospitality success story.
