MATI Insight hosts strategic masterclass led by Mark Pollard
The Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) hosted the second edition of MATI Insight, featuring a strategy masterclass titled *”Sweathead Masterclass: Strategy is Your Words”* conducted by Mark Pollard. The session, held on November 17, 2024, at the Crossroads Maldives Event Hall, attracted over 75 participants.
The workshop focused on enhancing participants’ strategic and planning abilities through practical application. Central to the session was the Four Points Framework, developed by Mark Pollard, which offers a structured approach to crafting effective strategies. Attendees were guided on identifying critical insights, converting them into actionable strategies, and communicating them effectively. The masterclass emphasised the importance of precise language in driving brand success and provided instruction on creating compelling creative briefs. With over ten interactive exercises, participants applied the Four Points Framework to develop their own brand strategies.
Mark Pollard, founder of Mighty Jungle, specialises in helping leaders, marketers, and agencies break free from traditional constraints through a blend of training, strategic development, and writing. His extensive client list includes The Economist, Electronic Arts, Facebook, Twitter, Wall Street Journal, Mozilla, Havas, and TBWA/Media Arts Lab. Pollard previously led strategy teams at McCann, Leo Burnett, and Big Spaceship. He has also served as a judge for the Jay Chiat Awards and the Webbys and contributed to the Australian Account Planning Group (APG) committee.
