Milaidhoo Maldives crowned champions of Tekkers Resort Cup 2024 Baa Zone
The Dhiraagu Tekkers Resort Cup 2024 (Baa Zone) concluded with a thrilling finale on August 20, 2024, as Milaidhoo Maldives emerged as champions following an intense match against The Nautilus Maldives. Hosted at Royal Island Maldives, the tournament showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship from all participating teams.
Competing fiercely were five teams: Royal Island Maldives, Soneva Fushi, The Nautilus Maldives, Dusit Thani Maldives, and Milaidhoo Maldives. The final match saw Milaidhoo Maldives secure their third consecutive championship with a 3-1 victory, demonstrating remarkable skill and composure under pressure. Ali Naseer of Milaidhoo Maldives was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
In addition to the championship title, several individual honors were awarded. Ahmed Sabah of The Nautilus Maldives was the Top Scorer of the tournament, netting an impressive 8 goals. The Best Player award was given to Ali Naseer from Milaidhoo Maldives for his significant contributions to his team’s success.
