MMPRC, Singapore Airlines partner in joint promotion for South Korean market

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Maldives Marketing & PR Corporation (MMPRC) has partnered with Singapore Airlines to conduct a joint promotion along with industry partners in the Maldives. The promotion is mainly focused on the South Korean market which is one of the top ten markets for Maldives.

According to MMPRC, tourists booking flight tickets and accommodation to Maldives through the official website of Singapore Airlines can participate in the promotion and will be exposed to various benefits. Some of the benefits include room upgrades, complimentary spa treatments, complimentary dinner etc. The reservation period is from July 1 to August 31, and benefits may vary from resort to resort, says MMPRC in a statement.

16 resorts from Maldives are participating in the promotion; Amaya Resorts & Spa Kuda Rah, Angsana Velavaru Resort, Angsana Ihuru, Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, Furaveri Island Resort & Spa, Gili Lankanfushi Maldives, Kandima Maldives, Mirihi Island Resort, Olhuveli Beach & Spa Maldives, Paradise Island Resort, Shangri-La’s Villingili Resort & Spa, Sun Aqua Vilu Reef Maldives, Sun Island Resort, The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa and Vivanta by Taj Coral Reef.

South Korea is one of the important markets for Maldives in terms of arrivals and has been one of the top 10 markets in the past years, says MMPRC. South Korean Market attracted 29,580 tourists by the end of 2016. However, this is a decrease of 10 percent compared to the previous year.
